  1. Old Song

I am nearly broken hearted, Since I my true love parted

    There is one Doctor Dolan,
    A story I will tell,
He is a great herb doctor,
And the sick he does make well.
    He has a little farm,
And his house is like a Dun,
    For protection of his medicine
    He keeps a little gun.
He went to his uncle's funeral
    Himself and old Cos-mór,
And there they stead drinking, hand
    and fist, in Maye's
Till they could get no more.
They both went out upon the street, And said Dolan "I'll go home,"
They went straight up to Clonan's
    To play Garryoon.
