The Mass used to be celebrated in a house in Frayne long ago. Mr. Reilly owned the house. The house is now in ruins. When people went to Mass, they used to write it on a book, to see how many days in the year they went to Mass. The people used to be always in time for Mass. The Mass was at seven o'clock in the morning. No bells were ever heard at Mass. There were several religious people in the district long ago. Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Gaffney, Jack Smith, and Thomas Murphy were very religious people. They used to go to the house in Frayne, where Mass was offered, every day, and
