  1. Long ago when people were going to build a house, they would put four rods on the four corners of the foundation stuck in the ground and if the rods fell they would not build the house because it would be on the Fairy's Pass.
    There was a black - smith named Jim Moran, he lived near Trim about 150 years ago.
    His sister was supposed to be taken by the fairies.
    He was told that if he went to a certain field on a certain night he would see the fairies pass on horse back, & she was
