  1. It is located in Mr Francis Mulvins land
    It is on the right hand side of the road from Castlejordan school being about a mile and a half from it.
    There is only about one third of it standing now, the length if it being about 33 feet and breath of it about 28 feet.
    There are neither rooms nor fireplaces nor doors in it but there are places for windows.
    There are six little ash trees growing on top of it and there were some where cut off it.
    There is ivy growing on the walls of it also.
    It is said there is an underground passage from Clonmore castle to Castlejordan castle and there is also some underground apartments.
    There is also a tree at the back of the castle and it is charmed.
    If any person cuts a branch off the tree something will happen him
    One day a little woman in a shawl came to a house beside the castle and said to the woman living there isn't that a fine castle there
