In olden times a cure for whooping cough was a piece of dry bread two married people of the same name surname. Also a hair from the head of a boy that was not born for some time after his father died. The seventh son had the cure of worms in children. There is a well not far from here called Tubber-Ann it is a holy well and people come on May Eve and say prayers in honour of it and to optain cures of different kinds. Its water is a real cure of warts.- Informant
