    Once upon a time there was a girl named Mary Smyth who lived in the Townland of Cross Co Cavan.

    immediately and got them. when he came back the girl was in the same place. He caught hold of her and started to but them on her. She began to shout and cry. Her father was tired holding her. He wiped his hand round the pot and said "to pot with you", hitting her on the eyes. She exclaimed "Now you did it father. I will stay with you". The girl used to go around telling her neighbours all she had seen but the priest stopped her from telling it.
