Co. MeathOne dark night a man who was used to playing cards every night was going home. He met a man dressed in black and a black dog with him. The man asked him where he had been. "I was playing cards in a neighbours house" said the young man. "Well will you place a game with me" said the man. "I will " said the young man. The black man said if he won the twenty-five he would get a thousand pounds and if he did not win he would have to serve him for a year and a day. They agreed, the game was played and the black won.
