    Once upon a time there was an old woman who lived on the top of Leig a Houra hill in Ballinlig.

    the hare would go up to the house she would. One day the the men saw the hare jumping in through the window of Nellie's house the dog bit her before she got in. The men got in after her when they asked did she she said she see a hare anywhere about the house looking for the hare they were shifting Nellie about and they found a pool of blood under her and from that to this the hill is called Nellie's Hill.
