  1. There is a weed called pile-wort that grows along a river or in a wood. If you get it and fry it in an old pan with un-salted butter or dripping and then let it cool it will cure piles.

  2. There is a man that goes around selling delf. He can cure warts. If you want them cured you would have to count how many warts you have and write down on a piece of paper the number along with your name and address.
    Then he says prayers for so many mornings and the warts will die away.
