    Q. The night man in a hospital met the head-man and said "I was dreaming about you all night." Immediately the head-man went and sacked him. What did he sack him for?
    A. For sleeping at his post.
    Q. "Over there in the bog it was seen.
    In a beautifu suit of green.
    Now it's at home in a suit of white.
    And serves us for a candle light.
    A. A peeled rush dipped in grease, used for a candle in olden days.
    Q. Said a child to it's father. "How does it come,
    That you are my father and I am not your son.
    A. Because the child was his daughter.
    Q. What stands, wags it's tail and runs.
