  1. It is local belief that there is a treasure hidden under a lone bush at a place called Lugna hulla by the edge of the River Boyne. It is believed that a man is guarding it and should anyone attempt to unearth it that this guardian of the treasure would put up a stiff fight with the intruder and that a life would be lost in the attempts as Lugna hulla mean a hole in the hollow.
