  1. Local Monuments.
    The is one cross on the Rahinstown road, and one on the Trammon Road and there are standing stones in Dangan Castle.
    There are some ancient stones in the churchyards. There are no ornamented stones in the district. Mr. Cassidy was killed by accident on the Trammon Road.
    Mr Taaffe was killed on the Rahinstown Road. The Steward of Rahinstown dell off his bicycle and was killed at Kings Bridge near Rahinstown. The stone where Mr. Cassidy was killed was erected to mark the place where he was killed. There are no storied connected with any of the people I have mentioned.
