    kitchen but my grand-father said that it took up too much room and he put it into an out-house. The "settle-bed" is a large wooden bed which can be opened out at night and closed up in the day time. The old people say that it used to be a novelty to them to sleep in the "settle-bed".

  2. The houses long ago were built of yellow clay and stones. There is a house beside our house which is built with clay. The chimney is made of rushes and clay. This house is built over 300 years. it is said that Lord Tara built it for one of his servants
