    There is a wood on a high hill in Mr Steens land Ringlestown, Co Meath. The name of the wood is Cnoc a' Phobail. Mr Steen's father put some of a grave yard, which was beside the house, out into the field beside the wood. It is said that long ago at night there used to be tramping of feet heard coming from the wood. there is a hedge around the wood. There is a mark of an old road that ran through the wood.

  2. About a quarter of a mile from Kilmessan Station in the townland of Kilmessan there is a 'raheen'. It is called 'Arlon's Raheen'. This name was given it by the people of the neighbourhood, because the 'raheen'
