  1. About two miles from where I live there is a townland called Milltown. In one of the fields there is a mound. This mound is said to be enchanted and that there are fairies living in it. They are sometimes heard playing music and dancing. One night a woman was going home when she heard a game of football going on at the foot of the mound. She looked out through the hedge and saw a crowd of fairies playing football. They caught sight of the woman and they disappeared. Of course the people told her she only imagined it.
