In this district people believe that black soap and sugar when applied to boils will cure them. If a person is suffering from headache he is advised to mix half a spoonful of breadsoda with pure spring water and drink it. After a while he will be well again. If a person is suffering from stomach-ache he will be cured if he boils three leaves of garlick in milk and drinks it. Garlick is also a cure for consumption.
