  1. There was gold buried on the Hill of Tara long ago. The Danish people buried the gold. The gold was buried because the country was invaded and the Danes hid the gold thinking they would come back and get it again. The gold was buried about the year of one thousand. People have searched for the hidden treasure but did not succeed in getting any.
