  1. The name of my district is 'Grange' Boyne. It is the barony of Deuce Co. Meath. There are five different families in it and twenty five people. Of all the names Maguire is most common. The types of houses in my district are all slated. There is only one farmers house and all the rest are cottages.
Grange Boyne got its name from a granary which was there long ago when Bective Abbey was inhabited.
There is only one old person living in my district over seventy years. Her name is Mrs Finlay.
Houses were more numerous long ago in my district. There were about three or four more houses than now. Glennon lived in a thatched house in Grange Boyne and James Nanny and Jane Glennon went to America.
Jack Carr went to Australia where he is still alive.
