  1. Games we play 6-4-1938
Here is a list of the games we play in school or at home.
Town, Hide and seek, Tig, block,Nuts in may, Frog in the well.
Tig. This is the way we play tig, all the players stand round in a ring and one girl gives out a rhyme. When we are giving it out we say,
    A Bine Babine baby's knee
    Halter Galter seeking see
    Rimbles roes single toes
    and out goes she"
And whoever "she" falls on has the tig and whoever she tigs has it and so the game goes on.
Here are more of the rhymes we say when giving out,
    Little Minny, turn your pinny
    inside out
P-i-g you have tig c-o-w you have it now.
