  1. The treasure which is supposed to be a pot of gold, was hidden in Dangan Castle, Summerhill, Co. Meath, by the Dane's when they were fleeing from a church.
    A dog is seen at the castle, and people say the dog is guarding the treasure.
    People dug for it often, but got nothing at all.
