  1. Cures for whooping cough
    1. The milk that a ferret leaves after him will cure the whooping cough. It is supposed that there is something in the ferret's breath that will cure the whoop.
    2. If the resin off a deal is roasted on the fire and the smoke is inhaled by the person who has the whooping cough he will be cured of the whoop.
    3. If a piebald pony blows his breath into the mouth of the person who has the whooping cough he will be cured of the whoop.
