At one time there were two bakeries one of them was owned by Eiffe's and the other by Gargan's. Eiffe's was where Costelo's shop is now and Gargans is where the post-office is now. There were also weavers by the name of O'Toole's. They lived on the school road somewhere about where Johney Madden's is now. There were also two trades of Nailers. One of them was James Nolan he lived somewhere about Keoghs and the other was a Patrick Kane he lived on the school.
