    Toothache. Let a frog jump in your mouth for a few minutes and it is supposed to cure it. Cured by this method:-

    Warts. Dip your hand in forge water, another cure for warts is to rub a black snail to your warts and hang it in a white bag round your neck and according as the snail dies the warts withers away.
    Ring worm Jem Boylan, Snipestown, Garristown, Co Meath has a cure for this.
    Whooping Caugh Mrs Byrne (Burn) Cookstown, Ashbourne, Co Meath can make butter that cures this, this butter is made in May, if it is not made in May it is no good.
