  1. Near our home at Lismahon there is a field called "The House Division and in it there is a moat.
    It is circular in shape and about four feet in height. There is a story connected with it.
    It is said that three men went to dig for a crock of gold that was supposed to be under it.
    When they had dig about two feet one man dropped dead.
    The other said they would continue, but when they had dug about six inches another man dropped dead. The other man said he would not continue.
    Near the village of Batterstown there is a large Rath called "Rathegain"
