  1. Friday and Tuesday are lucky days for doing things. Saturday is unlucky for flitting. They say Saturdays flitting is short sitting. The three first days of April are called the borrowed days of March. The got them to kill the old cow the story about it is not known around here. They don't know if the first of February St Brigid's day is called the cross day or not. But an old man said it was. But if the potatoes are not planted before the 16th of May they will be small or no use.
