  1. Tooth-aches: Put mustard in your tooth or put salt and cold water in your tooth.
    Warts: Cut a potato in the middle and cut a cross on each half and say three Hail Mary's or if you saw a snail coming towards you, pick him up and rub him to the wart, then hang him on a bush, as the snail withers the wart withers, or put forge water on the wart.
    Sore throats: Put roasted salt in a stocking and put round your neck, or put the grease of a tallow candle on your neck.
    Burns: Put bread soda on them.
    Stings: Spit in a docking leaf and put it on the sting.
    Cure for chilblains: Rub an onion on them.
    Cure for a sore leg: Let a dog lick it
    Cure for rhumatism: Eat celery
