  2. A cure for a sty: get ten gooseberry thorns. Point nine to it and throw the tenth away.
    A cure for a sting: put an onion on it
    A cure for chilblains: dip a lemon in salt and put it to them
    A cure for a burn: put bread soda on it.
    A cure for ringworm: get nine knots of straw and a gold ring. Let fire to the straws. Dip the ring in Holy Water then in the ashes and put it to the ringworm.
