    (4) If you see a circle round the moon that is the sign of a storm and the further it is out from the moon the nearer the storm.
    (5) The crows and the stairs cluster together when there is going to be a storm.
    (6) The distant hills look near when there is going to be bad weather.
    (7) The dog who loves mutton bones leaves them and feasts on grass when it is going to rain.
    (8) The frog who usually wears a yellow crest changes it to a russet colour when it is going to rain.
