  2. Castle
Beside the village of Walterstown there is an old castle called Monktown,. There was in the castle a society of monks. They were very good to the poor. They had at that time seven acres of land cultivated into a fruit growing plantation. They have all disappeared now from the time of the Normans. The castle is all decayed now and very nearly all down.
