  1. Old Blessings
Long ago when a man or woman was passing by a man or woman working in a field he or she would say "God bless Your Work". The man in the field would answer "God Bless You Kindly". If a man was entering a house, when going in the door he would say "God Bless All in here". The people in the house would answer "God Bless You kindly or God and Mary Bless you".

  2. A school
Over in the Glen Road in front of Benny Derby's gates, there is an old road. A bit down the road there is a turn. Long ago at this turn there was a school. Bits of the walls are still to be seen here.
