  1. Lisdornan is about half a mile from Bellewstown. Years ago Napper Tandy lived there for a time and is buried quite close to the place Namely Julianstown. There is a very fine well and a historic underground passage built up with stone flags. Lisdornan is also reputed to have had a flat roof at one time to enable smugglers to watch the boats coming up the nanny river with goods
