    side of the house by discovered that a burglar was about to enter the house. Fr. Sheridan could have sent the man hurtling to the ground, yet he hesitated, fearing the fall night end the mans life, and left the theif to take what he wanted. The windows were barred up afterwards, and even to-day some of those iron bars remain to be seen. The house is situated in the townland of Ballinlough and is owned by Mr. Kelly, Rathmullen, Drogheda.
