    It is a sign of fine weather to see the swallows flying high. When frogs croak and make a loud din good weather is fortold. When the sky is red and the noise of a train or a bell is heard a long distance away there will be either frost or fine weather. It is also a good sign to see sheep playing in the fields.

  2. If the sea gulls leave the shore and fly inland the weather will continue to be fine. One may be sure of a long spell of dry weather when two rainbows appear in the sky
