    Where Peter Waters now lives a family named Murtagh resided about 65 years ago.

    Where Peter Waters now lives a family named Murtagh resided about 65 years ago.
    The old woman who was crippled with pains was altogether unable to walk, and lay in bed from year's end to ear's end.
    She was very uneasy about her grave in Painestown cemetery, as her son did know its exact location and she was always fretting lest she might be interred in the wrong grave. To settle the question, her son volunteered to carry her on his back to the old graveyard so that she might mark the place in which he was to bury her when her death occurred. One night, having taken his supper, her carried her down the short road from their house.
