    After the famine when Cholera raged in Co Meath this vicinity seem to have suffered very much from its ravages for we are told by old residents here that the wood seen on right in the Photo was planted to protect the bones of the victims, hastily buried here, from disturbance.
    There was, they say, a hospital here beside this old mill for the treatment of the Cholera.
    The teacher told us that her grandmother used to tell of an ancestor of hers, who lived around the locality.
