In Dollardstown there is a lovely cave.

    (continued from previous page)
Mrs Shiel is the only occupant of the immense house at present.
Since early times this grotto was turned into a tenant's house but the smoke used to come over the road and as it frightened the horses it ceased to be a dwelling place.
Nowadays it is changed into a cattle stable but the ceiling is still lovely- the shells and marking being still there.
