Not many years ago a man names Andrews lived in Stackallen.
He was a bone setting expert and all the inhabitants of the place had wonderful belief in him as well as people from all parts of Meath and the adjoining counties.
He was a famous man and he was never known to set a bone wrongly.
When he died there were great laments and regrets for him.
There was another man in Deanhill by name Willie McKnight who had the same talent but was not so well known.
At the age of 30 he came from Collon to live in Deanhill where he spent 55 years of his life at successful bonesetting.
