  1. There is a well near where I live in Ardmulchan called the "Tobar Tinny".
    It is situated on the southern side of the Boyne about half way between Beauparc and Ardmulchan. It is surrounded by a wall and a hedge. It is said locally that long ago it was blessed by a saint whose name I could not find out.
    It is also said that on that account people went on pilgrimages to pray at the well. That custom has discontinued for a number of years.
