  1. Another Funny Story
    An old woman was married in Annesbrook long ago to a man named Patrick. She had a habit of saying things in a backways manner.
    Her husband was very fond of buttermilk. She used to get some from a farmer's wife who lived near by.
    One day she said to the farmer's wife "Paddy would drink as much pigs as buttermilk".
    She had friends in Dublin. They invited her to spend a week with them. When she returned she came on the half past nine train. When she came home she said to her husband "I was eating the half past nine and my breakfast going by"
