  1. An old woman named Brigid Hull lived in the Corballis about the year 1867. She used to go to mass every morning but she never went to mass on Sunday. One day she went to confession. The priest said "Why do you not go to Sunday Mass" "Is it because you are not bound to go on a week day that you go, and because you are bound to go on a Sunday that you do not go". "No" she said that is not the reason but the reason is she said "too many people would be looking at me". When she said this the priest was vexed with her. When she saw this she said Ah! well to please you I might go. The Priest said "I
