  1. There is a cave situated on a hillside near Old Bridge not far from Drogheda. There is a story told that many years ago a man gathering herbs. After a time he sat down to rest, he was surprised to see a dark cleft in the hill.
    Again and again he looked at it, then he determined to climb to it. Keeping his eyes on the cleft he began to climb. When he reached it he found it was a cave. He walked into
