    As one fine evening I walked along,
    To veiw the groves and each fertile plain,
    My course I took to the Hill of Slane
    When I ascended that beauteous hill,
    Where nature dared me without art or skill,
    I went up that spire,
    and from hence I seen,
    O Dublin City all round College Green.
