  1. Long ago Crowell caused much disaster in Drogheda. To the present day the marks are left which tell us so. The prestestants tried to capture all the finest mansions in and around the town. The Catholics suffered terribly at that time. That mansion at Beaulie belonged to the Catholic at that time. Now it is owned by protestant and other such beautiful mansions were captured by the Protestants at that time. What about our beautiful Church at the top of Peter Street they captured that also. Some of the street such as Scarlet
