    Yout lovers fair to draw me near, attend to my narration,
    while I relate my dreadfull state, and love-sick situation
    I must deplore I'm wounded sore, I'm in disconsolation,
    Since I espied young Anne Mc Bride, In Collon sweet plantation.

    Her sparkling eyes did me entice and tore my heart assunder
    Her golden hair beyond compare
    Its lustre made me wonder,
    Her skin so white, it dimmed my sight.
    the with great concideration,
    For help I cried to Anne Mc Bride
    In Collon sweet plantation.

    In chanting dame behold a swain
    Whom you have captuated,
    Your matchless frame, has caused me pain
    and has me ruinated
    Tis in your power,
