  1. Plenty of people put a cow's horn above the door. It is supposed to bring luck on the stock. After milking the cows people dip their finger in the milk and bless the cow. A horse shoe is put above the horse shed door it is said to bring luck. When you hear a sheep mea-ing you know the Summer is near. When you want the hens to come to the henhouse you say "Huck, Huck, Huck, Huck. It is the custom for the people to put holy water on the eggs before they are hatched.
