- The south and west wind brings rain to this district. The pig lies in the middle of the field when a storm is coming. Also the black clouds bring storm. When a person sees fog on the hill it brings water to the mill. When you see water-birds flying inland it is the sign of a storm. If the smoke of a chimney goes up straight it is the sign of good weather. If there is a blue flame in the fire it is the sign of rain.
- If you see the swallows flying low and the seagulls flying inland it is a sign of rain. Fog in the valley is the sign of good weather. When the mountains are near and foggy it is the sign of damp warm weather. When the sky is red and purple(continues on next page)
