  2. The Main St of the village of Collon formerly ran along a field north of the present village, which is still known as the town meadow, this road lead from the Main Rd. to Drogheda, to where the present Mt Oriel Rd. branches off Ardee St.
    The present Strinagh Rd. once ran through the farm now known as the "Mill Land" and on to the Drogheda Rd. at the Drumgool's Cross.
    Church St. ran at the back of the houses on the left hand side of the present St.
    The road from Collon to Slane ran straight from the Corner of Collon, up
