    road ran straight down at the back of Geraghtys house, up through the "Town Meadow" where the former village of Collon stood, out at the back of Emerson's and joined the Mount Oriel road there.
    The Ardee Road ran straight from the Corner, down to Mollyrua, up at the back of Cummins down to Conlons Bridge joined the Old Road there and ran straight into Ardee. The present "high footpath" was the level of the road at that time.
    Where "Hollow-house" stands now was the level of Main Street then, and Mc Keever's door was the level there so that there must have been a high hill at the corner.
    Slane Rd. then, ran straight from the Corner, up Laurel Hill, straight down to Hungry Hall on down at the back of
