  1. 6. The people said that a ghost was seen on the Collon Road. The ghost was a dog and he used to walk the road with everyone. one night a priest saw the ghost and he hunted him and he was never seen since. One night the people of Sillogue saw a light in a field owned by Mr Carroll of Riverstown, Monasterboice. It was a fire and fairies were seen dancing round it. One night a light was seen on a hill at Barnattin and it was seen moving across the fields to Monasterboice.
