  1. Fairies were to be seen long ago in the night. One night a man was walking along the main road. He saw a white pony and cart coming after him. When they came up to him one of the men asked him to sit up. when he got up the man turned the pony across the fields and they jumped hedges and ditches for about an hour. Then they came to a road and the pony stopped. Then the fairies disappeared.
